How are you? Thanks for your mail – I was happy to hear about you and your family.
I am going on holidays for ten days! I’m going to live in a British city with a friendly family! I will have my own room and I will find out what life in Britan is really like. My family will give me all the meals and sure I will meet friends and interesting places.
I’m very happy because my English will get much better.

THE PEN
I am going to write about the pen.
The man who invented it was Laszlo Biro with the help of his brother Gero.
Biro got the idea in 1938 when he saw children play with balls in the street. Biro discovered that one of the balls left a mark on the pavement after it got through wet floor.
Biro start to seel the pen in 1940
I think that a pen is a invention very useful, this is used by people all over the word, In school and jobs

Rafael is a dirty poor man that lost her father when he was child.
Rafael loved Anita, the most beautiful girl in all the village.
He give anita a ring of the true love but come to him when he killed the soldier because Anita love him but when he killed the soldier, for accident he kill Anita. Latter a shark attack him but he killed it and into there was a woman hand with the ring. Scince this time he is mad.

: Anita was a beautiful girl, she was the most beautiful girl in the village. Every body loved her and she was an excellent person.

Every young man wanted to marry her. She was very intelligent and was very good at reading and telling stories and always she told stories to the children of the village.

She never worked or helped her mother in the house, her hands were always clean and beautiful. Her father was Rodrigo, and he wanted that Anita marry with a rich businessman, but she loved Rafael, that was a poor fisherman.

She was the most beautiful girl. Every body loved her because they belived that she was an excelent person.
She was a good and inteligent girl, and how she didn't go to school, her father was her teacher.
Anita was very good at reading and telling, so she told stories to the children and other people of the village. Also, she knew write.
Her father wanted to, her daughter, married with an important and rich man.
The people said that she loved Rafael, and Rafael loved her, but her father didn't want to she married with somebody of this village.

Anita was very beautiful, she was the most beautiful girl in the village. Everyone loved her.
She was a good girl and all the young man dreamet of her and wanted to marry her.
She also was clever. Anita was very good at reading and telling stories.
But her parents gave her everything she wanted. She could do anything she liked. She never worked or helped her mother in the house, her hands were always clean and beautiful. Her fingernails were long and pink, they were never broken or bitten.
Anita’s father, Rodrigo, wanted her to marry a rich businessman, who lived in the city.
She became proud and lazy. Her voice was very loud and clever.
Most people loved her.

This description is of Rafael:

When Rafael was a child he was a fisherman like his father. His family was very poor. And when his father died his family became poorer.
Rafael loved Anita, the most beautiful girl of the village, but her father didn´t want him, he wanted that his daughter marry a rich man.
One day he became mad, but nobody knew why.
Many years later, he was thin, dirty, he had a long beard, and he lived in a boat on the beach. In his neck he had a necklace with a ring, the ring he gave to Anita´s father and he rejected it.
The people called him "The crazy Rafael". And the children laughed at him.

Argentina is very good place to live or for vacation but is so much polluted. First we must dont throw de rubbish to the street. We must throw in a litter and if there are no litters we must wait to get home.
There are so much factory's fumes who pollute all the air. It is bad for us. We need a solution.
We should dont waste the water because in future is going to be no more water.
Another problem is that there is so much insecurity in the street. For example tu many places we cant go alone in the street. There must be more policesman in the street to be more secure to walk in the street.
If we do thatArgentina will be a better place than now

In Buenos aires There is a lot of fumes of car. We could use bio diesel energy for ours car.
In the street there are a lot of litter and waste, we could change the drop litters for those that organize the litter and we mustn’t drop litter in the street or in the pavement.
We must pick up the waste of ours pet.
In bs as are a lot of factory, this is a big problem because pollute the air.
I thing that we must close the factory.
We must save the energy and the water. We must recycle plastic and pepper.
Buenos aire could a nice city.

First of all we think our city is a very nice place but it’s very polluted. On the streets we can see all the litter, which is a lot. Secondly, we can see all the factory fumes that make the environment worse. We need a solution, so we think that we shouldn’t waste water and electricity and we could stop dropping litter on the streets. Finally, there is a lot of insecurity in the streets, and it is almost impossible to walk alone at night in some places. Our idea is to take some cautions, like not walking while we are listening to music or talking in the mobile phone. To sum up we should save electricity and water, we should recycle bottles, we should pick up the litter and go into stores to talk with the mobile phone. Perhaps it´s difficult but if we try, Buenos Aires will be cleaner and safer. We think that if we do that, the city will be fantastic, so we need your help!

First, in Argentina the people fight every time so we should stop fighting and we should start to respecting ourselves because we are a country and we must respecting ourselves to be a big group.
Other problem of Argentina is the pollution, there is many factories in the country and because of it there are many fumes in the air.We must close this factories to take care the environment.
In the streets there is litter that many people throw, so we should pick up all the litter to make Argentina a clean country. Another problem in Argentina is we waste the water, and the drinkable water, one day, can disappear. We must save it.
I believe that with these ideas Argentina will turn a better country.

First of all I think that Argentina is a great country.

The problems are that we must have more security, and are a lot of factories that are a big problem because they pollute our city.

We should pick up the litter, because it couse a lot of pollution… Argentinian people waste water but I think we should save it. We should recycle bottles.

Finally I recommend that we can recycle the rubbish, we shouldn`t waste water and not pollute our city. If we do all this things the planet will be better.

In 1938, hungarian inventor, Lazlo Biro, invented the pen. He used the pen that had a small ball with viscuous and oily red ink. He went to Argentina in 1940, escaping from the nazis. He patented his invention the 10 of June of 1943 and inmediately people started to use it in Buenos Aires.

He had this fantastic idea while he was looking at some boys that were playing in the street with small balls.

First of all, I think that the principal responsible of the pollution are the human being, because we don't look after much the enviroment. somebody arent very tidy, some people take out the rubish at the incorrect time, other people drop litter on the streets and anyboddy pick it up.
Secondly, sometimes the people waste the water, and the water in the word is very important, because all of us need it.
Also, a lot of oil are found on the sea for year, and fortunately some people clean it up.
Perhaps, we can help, can't we?
Finally, other of thigs that pollute the atmosphere are the factory fumes.
To sum up, I say that we help for our city will be better than now. for example, we can recycling the rubbish, we don't waste water and no pollute our city.

First of all, I think that our town is full of environmental. All of us pollute a bit the environment, and every day it is getting from bad.
But I think that we can solve it. These are my ideas: We shouldn´t waste the water, for example: if we wash our teeth, at that moment we should close. Don´t drop litter, we can drop it in the rubbish bin. If we see litter in our house, we should pick it up. Recycling some rubbish is a good idea. Don´t cut down trees, or if we cut down one tree, we´ll plant two trees.
Also, I think that factories and cars fumes is a big problem and I don´t know what do to change it for better. Only that we can use bicycles or walk for short journeys, and then pollution will decrease.
Finally, I´m sure that we will make our city better, but all of us have to help.

I'm writing about the battery.
The man who invented it was Lewis Urry, from Canada.
He got the idea when the Carbide Union asked him for the creation of a vttery with a longer duration. He experimented with some materials and he discovered that the zine had a longer duration than the common batteries. They were on sell in 1959.
Personally, I think that this invention is very useful if you use a lot of batteries.

The visionary man who invented the telephone, was Alexander Graham Bell . This built the first telephone in 1876, in the state of Massachusetts in the United States. This useful invention, consists of the transmission of sounds from a distance using electricity. Thus, as in 1876, develops the phone, with financial support from their in-laws. The system used is basically that we continue using. The transformation of sound, electrical impulses. That same year, Bell patented his invention. But the United States Congress, by performing an act of justice, officially recognized the contribution to the development of telephone made by Antonio Meucci. Meucci was Italian, who was born in 1808 in Florence. After various problems in their lives, with the Italian government at the time, moved to the United States. Meucci, would have invented a basic form of telephone, in 1854. Her need was quite simple. Joining in a direct manner, his office to the second floor, where her room was. This, because his wife suffered from rheumatism, so that he could not get off easily, the stairs of the house. Thus, she could easily communicate with her husband, against any need to be submitted.
Regardless of these technicalities, now almost universally recognized that whoever was Bell invented the telephone.

The man who invented the pen was Laszlo Biro, a journalist and inventor, and his brother Gero helped him.
Laszlo got the idea in 1938, when he was angry because he was writing a report with a fountain pen and it was very difficult. He saw children playing ball and saw one ball of them went over a puddle and the ball draw a line in the street. In that moment he got the idea.
He started it in 1938 and finished it in 1943. He put it the name "Birome" because of his surname.
I think the pen is something very important and indispensable.

The telephone was invented in 1854 by Meucci, an immigrant that didn’t have any money. The first telephone was mechanic, not an electric one like we have in our homes at the present. He invented it, because his wife was ill, she could not move, and they wanted to communicate with each other.
This invention was patented in 1871, in New York; but 10 years later he had to change the patent, but he didn´t have any money so Alexander Grahan Bell stole his idea.

When Martin Cooper was 42 (forty-two), he made the first
telephone call with the first mobile phone, he invented the
mobile phone in 1973 when he was working for Motorola Company.
The name of the first mobile phone was: Motorola Dyna TAC 8000 x,
and it appeared in 1983. It was 750 grams.
On the third of april of 1973, thanks to Cooper, somebody
carried this invention to different places, and they could comunicate
with him.
Martin Cooper was born in 1930, he studied in Chicago;
he finished his degree of engineering in the institute of Tecnology
of Illinois.
